Cap'n Gary's Caving Cruades part II

after the hide and sneak in Dip cave we traveled to Devils Punchbowl, this was my favorite part of the trip because I liked doing abseiling the most because Charlie was my balayer and let me jump on the 35m cliff he gave me enough slack.
on the second day we entered Punchbowl cave I was the third into the cave and Charlie and I went off and explored the cave before D dogs made it down. then we spent a 8 hours in the cave exploring then we went up the cave ladder.

The Final Dive

the fifth dive was not a scuba dive due to the corse we must swim 200m with mask and snorkel to pass this course
so all 6 of the divers ran in with mask and snorkels and swam around diving under and having fun

I can not wait to go back down and complete my course and receive my dive licence

Forth Dive

The forth dive was back at Kiola Boat Ramp.
this was due to it being the only place that the swell seemed to be calm enough to go under at.
we went under for a 30minute dive in this time we learnt BC removal and replacement and to use each others Octy air system in case of emergency.
this was the mot productive dive although I got really cold.
Second Day
Dive 3
on the second day we went out to Bawley Point, as seen here, and got ready for our third dive. the water was flowing fairly strong and the under tones made it near impossible to stay in the one place for any amount of time.
we went under for about 20 minutes until we needed to surface as one of our divers was getting sick due to the swaying of the current we did not get a chance to practice any skills. the divers told us to go back home and they would scout a new dive site

The Second Dive
Again this Dive was t Kiola Boat ramp pictures is in first post.
we went to a depth of 6m and learnt how to clean our mask by taking it off our eyes and putting it on our head. if you believed you could do this you could take it completely off then put it back on and clean it of water which is what I did.
this dive was much more productive then the first for people were ready for the dive and as it was the second of the day much more prepared for the water.

Kiola Boat Ramp

the first dive for the scuba divers was at Kiola beach at the boat launch, we went down to five meters and learn how to clear our mask under water.
